General objectives & tasks:
1. Promote the "active listening" mission within the Human Resources Department:
- Visit the different centers of arcenciel, in a scheduled way, in order to actively listen to all employees’ matters.
- Counsel employees regarding work, family, or personal problems.
- Identify any dysfunction among employees, endorse their development and promote their rotation when needed.
- Organize therapy focus group sessions as well as other activities in order to grow the employees’ potential and enhance their productivity.
- Identify assistance ways, fair criteria, procedures, support system and an Individual Progression Plan for employees facing difficulties.
- Centralize data related to employees facing difficulties through the HR software (Pledge) within the HR department.
- Decide, with the direct supervisors of employees facing difficulties, a fair distribution of social aids, based on preset objective criteria.
- Improve and maintain connections with professionals to benefit from their medical care networks (hospitals, laboratories, dispensaries, pharmacies, etc.), in coordination with the health and social units in different centers.
- Stay in direct contact with HR Representatives in different centers for better coordination, decision-making and necessary interventions.
- Maintain close ties with all the supporting godfathers/godmothers at arcenciel and provide them with necessary regular trainings.
- Provide support to parents of employees facing difficulties when needed.
- Coordinate trainings on active listening and supporting system.
- Respect arcenciel’s mission and values as well as policies and procedures.
2. Promote employees’ welfare within the organization:
- Assist the Human Resources Manager in evaluating, mediating and resolving human relations problems such as dispute, miscommunication, work-related problems etc.
- Approach each scenario from an objective perspective: the needs of the business, as a whole, versus the needs of the individual, and be able to empathize with both scenario and find the just solution.
- Participate in meeting with management to determine appropriate actions.
- Promote employees’ health and well-being.
- Focus and try to resolve issues affecting the morale, productivity and welfare of employees, such as pay and benefits, supporting work-life balance, and safe working conditions.
- Promote the internal communication and sharing of information.
- Prepare newsletter, emails and memos to communicate information about the organization in terms of news, announcements and decisions.
Position Requirements:
Skill set and competencies:
- Previous experience as Employee relations.
- Understanding of the logic of various HRIS.
- Proficiency in dealing with different types of impairments.
- Understanding of the Lebanese Labor law and Social Security law.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to relate to people at all levels.
- Ability to work on confidential information.
- High level of confidentiality and respect of work secrecy.
- Ability to recognize own’s limitations, respond to difficult situations and be fully objective in taking decisions.
- Capable in being critical and analytical.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal, mediation and negotiation skills.

Working schedule: Monday till Friday from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm.
