Field Coordinator: Improving Food Security

1-  Coordination of trainings: - Identifying training needs based on the field officers reports. - Designing training based on the needs. - Check that statutory training requirements are met. - Schedule and organize the trainings. - Monitoring and reviewing the progress of the trainings.   2-  Implementation of pilot projects: - Ensure responsibilities and timelines are established and respected. - Monitor in coordination with the field officers the delivery, handling and utilization of materials at site. - Follow up on daily basis implementation activities at each site to ensure adherence to agreed standards and processes. - Conduct at least once a week an inspection for each site. - Ensure that all the health and safety measures of staff are taken. - Facilitate communication between the field officers and the project management.   3-  Supervision of the installation of a fruit machine: - Monitor in coordination with the field officer the delivery, handling and utilization of needed materials at site. - Ensure that the installation is well done and the machine is functional. - Ensure that the concerned workers received the adequate training to use the machine. - Ensure that the waste of fruits is transferred to Taanayel center for other use.   4-  Report all the field activities to the head of agricultural program: - Produce weekly/daily progress reports on the construction activities, contract status and beneficiary participation as required. - Ensure project documents are properly filed and kept secure. - Inform the field officers of any recommendation requested by the management.   5-  Branding for the related farmers products: - Ensure that the farmer’s products meet arcenciel standards. - Coordinate with the concerned persons for the creation of a common brand name for the farmers’ products. - Organization and planning of 2 events per year consisting of farmer’s market enabling them to sell their products and meet potential customers.   - In contact with third parties: -Technicians-Suppliers   - In contact with colleagues -Head of agriculture program-Field officers-Arcenciel’s volunteers   - Personal Competencies -High communication skills-Teamwork-Organizational skills
