General Objectives & Tasks:
1. Plan and set up operational activities:
- Prepare daily route sheets to ensure the smooth operation of the collection vehicles.
- Perform regular meetings with the operational team and other staff members, to discuss pending issues and problems, while suggesting action plans, new operational policies and procedures, and provide guidelines to meet the goals.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of trucks and machines used in the unit.
- Help identify and contact new potential partners for the collection and sales of the recyclable materials.
- Prepare needed purchase orders and invoices in coordination with the concerned departments.
2. Follow up and monitor field operations:
- Oversee the operational activities related to the collection of the recyclable materials.
- Monitor the performance of the areas’ vehicles and personnel to ensure plans are being fully implemented.
- Follow up on data collection and data analysis.
- Ensure that operational plans, policies and standards are applied.
- Help identify specific needs in order to increase the efficiency of the unit and engage all the stakeholders in the implementation of the proposed solutions.
- Perform audit and spot checks on clients and bin locations.
- Prepare regular reports on various operations and processes as per the set requirements.
- Ensure that all operations are carried out within the set safety and health standards; introduce new related rules and regulations to improve work processes.
3. Coordinate with beneficiaries to ensure proper service and follow up on related issues and complaints:
- Sustain arcenciel image, ensure abidance through setting work standards and plans, and delivery of high-quality service to the community.
- Conduct regular meetings with collaborating parties, follow-up on requests and complaints with the operations team and report major issues to the unit manager.
- Follow up on invoice and payment status with the beneficiaries.
4. Abide by the organization’s safety regulations, and at all times fulfill the assigned responsibility as per the arcenciel’s occupational health safety manual.
5. Perform any other relevant tasks and activities as requested by the direct supervisor.

- Basic to medium IT skills (databases, MS Office etc.).

Working Schedule: Monday till Friday, from 8 Am till 4 Pm.
Contract Type: 1 year (renewable based on performance).
