Physical Therapist

General objectives & tasks:

1- Offer physical therapy services to the patients:

• Diagnose the physical capacities of the patients.
• Provide adequate physiotherapy treatment.
• Teach and advise on healthy living.

2- Assist the direct supervisor with the proper functioning of the physiotherapy unit:

• Ensure the sufficiency of enough equipment and treatment tools in the physiotherapy and report any deficiency or lack of items to the direct supervisor.
• Create for every patient a file including but not limited to: assessment sheet, written treatment plan with regular recognized progress of each case.
• Keep the files of patients updated.
• Submit written documentation including evaluations, daily notes, and weekly summaries to the direct supervisor.
• Follow up on the referral of the cases to other therapists when required.
• Ensure a hygienic practice within the physiotherapy unit and during sessions.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Preserves and protects patient confidentiality in all situations and with all documentation.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection‐control policies and protocols.
• Demonstrates professionalism as a contract healthcare professional by being punctual and dependable for assigned shifts.

Position requirements:

• Registered in the order of physiotherapist in Lebanon.
• Capacity of physical therapy diagnosis.
• Proficiency in specific and appropriate testing.
• Proficiency in applying physiotherapy plans treatment.
• Ability to choose the right treatment and methodology.
• Familiarity of coaching and supervising trainees and interns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish a good relationship with patients and their families.
• A sense of interest in the health and wellbeing of patients.
• Problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Listening skills.
• Ability to synthesize.
• Flexibility and commitment.

• Good understanding of arcenciel' culture.

Working schedule: Monday till Friday; from 09:00 am till 05:00 pm.

Contract type: CDD 1 year (Renewable).
