General Tasks
1. Assessment, Observation, and Case Analysis
- Welcome and listen to beneficiaries referred for psychological support, counseling, or follow-up.
- Conduct psychological evaluations through interviews, observation, standardized tools, and file analysis.
- Identify and monitor psychological or developmental difficulties.
- Analyze and interpret the data to construct a comprehensive understanding of each case and define the “problématique.”
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and meetings to ensure a global understanding of the situation.
2. Intervention Planning and Implementation
- Develop individualized intervention and progress plans (IPP) in coordination with arcenciel's multidisciplinary para medical professionals.
- Conduct individual therapeutic sessions tailored to the needs and objectives of each beneficiary.
- Engage the beneficiary and their family or entourage in the implementation of the action plan to ensure consistency and sustainability.
- Adjust and update the intervention plan according to observed progress or new information gathered.
- Contribute to prevention and mental health promotion activities within the center or community.
3. Monitoring, Coordination, and Reporting
- Conduct regular follow-up sessions and maintain accurate documentation of the therapeutic process.
- Evaluate progress in relation to the objectives set in the IPP and adapt strategies as needed.
- Maintain continuous communication with other specialists (educators, social workers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc.) to ensure coherent interdisciplinary support.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss observations, progress, and recommendations.
- Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of all psychological interventions and reports
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical, Educational, or Work and Organizational Psychology).
- Registered with the Lebanese Order of Psychologists (LOPSY).
- Proven experience in psychological assessment, intervention, and counseling for various age groups.
