General objectives and tasks:
Take charge of people likely to present disorders of communication, languages in all its dimensions, and other cognitive activities, and oro-myo-facial functions:
- Recognize the beneficiaries’ needs / parents request during the first meeting.
- Establish the history of the problem with the parents/beneficiary.
- Assists in the assessment, treatment, and implementation of patient care.
- Evaluates patient's speech and language abilities and level of function
- Develop a clear diagnosis of the patient.
- Establish a relationship of trust with the patient to encourage him to participate.
- Develops treatment plans, including short and long‐term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
- Provide the effective and efficient treatment for the related patient.
- Communicating the patient's speech therapy program to the family and/or guardian.
- Submits written documentation including evaluations, daily notes, and weekly summaries.
- Preserves and protects patient confidentiality in all situations and with all documentation.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection‐control policies and protocols.
- Demonstrates professionalism as a contract healthcare professional by being punctual and dependable for assigned shifts.
- Perform any other relevant activities directed by the direct supervisor.
