Speech Therapist

General objectives and tasks:

Take charge of people likely to present disorders of communication, languages in all its dimensions, and other cognitive activities, and oro-myo-facial functions:

  • Recognize the beneficiaries’ needs / parents request during the first meeting.
  • Establish the history of the problem with the parents/beneficiary.
  • Assists in the assessment, treatment, and implementation of patient care.
  • Evaluates patient's speech and language abilities and level of function
  • Develop a clear diagnosis of the patient.
  • Establish a relationship of trust with the patient to encourage him to participate.
  • Develops treatment plans, including short and long‐term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
  • Provide the effective and efficient treatment for the related patient.
  • Communicating the patient's speech therapy program to the family and/or guardian.
  • Submits written documentation including evaluations, daily notes, and weekly summaries.
  • Preserves and protects patient confidentiality in all situations and with all documentation.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection‐control policies and protocols.
  • Demonstrates professionalism as a contract healthcare professional by being punctual and dependable for assigned shifts.
  • Perform any other relevant activities directed by the direct supervisor.

  • Capacity of diagnosis.
  • Proficiency of specific and appropriate testing.
  • Proficiency in applying speech therapy plans treatment
  • Ability to choose the right treatment and methodology.

Working schedule: 3 days/week from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm
