Speech Therapist - Taanayel

General objectives & tasks:

1- Take care of patients likely to have disorders in communication, language in all its dimensions, and other cognitive activities, as well as Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders:

• Recognize the parents' request during the first meeting.
• Establish the anamnesis of the problem with the parents.
• Identify and analyze the child’s disorder.
• Identify the diagnosis.
• Propose quick and effective solutions, then initiate the re-education.
• Establish a relationship of trust with patients to encourage them to participate and cooperate.
• Update the files of the patients (write reports showing the evolution of the disorder).
• Establish good communication with parents.
• Elaborate a weekly assessment for each patient.

Position Requirements:

Skill set and competencies:

• Knowledge and previous proven experience in speech-language diagnostic techniques.
• Know how to effectively manage a rehabilitation session.
• Listening and communication skills
• Adaptability to any kind of situation
• Respect for patients’ privacy
• Patient and positive personality.

Working schedule: 2 days per week 2:00 pm till 6:00 pm (days to be chosen between Wednesday, Thursday or Friday)
