System Administrator

Primary responsibilities: Support lans, wans, network segments, internet, and intranet systems. Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together. Ensure network connectivity throughout lan/wan infrastructure Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches. Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking Conduct technology training for new users Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed.  Replace or repair defective parts and equipment. Monitor and ensure daily backup of all servers and SQL database. Answer and log incoming IT support calls into the IT Management System  (Helpdesk) and “Fix on First Call” over the phone or remotely if possible. Direct to the necessary support queue, escalating requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Provide general administrative support to the IT Support Team  Mastering all windows server roles (Active directory, Group Policy Management, DHCP, WSUS, RRAS, Windows Server Backup and Terminal Server) Personal skills: Excellent communication skills Operational skills Work under pressure Team worker spirit, Patient Identify tasks priorities Technical skills and knowledge: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2 Roles (Hyper-V, Active directory, Group Policy Management, DHCP, WSUS, RRAS, Windows Server Backup and Terminal Server) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access is a plus) TMG Microsoft Exchange, MDaemon Computer Hardware/Software A+ Skills Mikrotik OS is a plus Team viewer
