As part of the BMZ-funded project “Strengthening the resilience of vulnerable women, young adults, and men in Lebanon by improving their livelihoods and increasing food security,” arche noVa, in collaboration with the University of Balamand (UOB), is proud to launch the Agriculture Scholarship Program for Lebanese female students.

This initiative aims to empower fresh high school graduates from vulnerable communities in Akkar and North Lebanon who are passionate about agriculture and committed to contributing to sustainable development through higher education.

What the Scholarship Covers

Each selected student will receive a scholarship of up to 5,000 EUR per academic year for 3 years to support their undergraduate studies in the Department of Agriculture at  Issam Fares Faculty of Technology (IFFT).

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be female and Lebanese national
• Be living of Akkar or North Lebanon (applications from other regions will not be considered)
• Be fresh high school graduates (not currently enrolled in any university)
• Have a minimum high school grade of 70%
• Be accepted into IFFT ‘s Department of Agriculture at UOB
• Not be a beneficiary of any other university scholarship
• Submit their application before the deadline
