AN-ITB-LB-2024-10| Implementation of irrigation systems and plantation of seeds, seedlings and trees in 61 backyard gardens in North Lebanon and Akkar areas

The project will be implemented in the below-mentioned areas in the North Lebanon and Akkar areas, as specified in the tender documents.

1.Meshmesh and Fneidek_Akkar (17 gardens)

2.Bebnine and Surrounding_Akkar (8 gardens)

3.Zouk El Hosnieh and Surrounding_Akkar (10 gardens)

4.El Bireh and Surrounding_Akkar (10 gardens)

5.Halba and Surrounding_Akar (4 gardens)

6.Minieh and surrounding_North Lebanon (7 gardens)

7.Beit El Faks_Dannieh_North Lebanon (5 gardens)

The implementation of activity shall be divided in 2 phases: 
a- The installation of irrigation systems (expected to be during February and March 2026)
b- The plantation phase that shall take place during March and April 2026, based on the weather conditions and the convenience of plantation in the identified areas of intervention.

The selected contractor will be responsible for the cost and risks for up to final agreed delivery location. Contractor shall furnish all the necessary materials, tools and equipment, labor, supervision, and other services, for the satisfactory and timely completion of the work in accordance with this Contract.

The installation and setup service shall be conducted following field visit to the 61 sites (to be conducted by the contractor prior implementation) and according to arche nova's field engineer’s design specifications, ensuring that all equipment, infrastructure are installed with precision and in compliance with the approved design. This includes the complete assembly, placement, and setup of systems such as irrigation and any other necessary infrastructure as outlined in the project scope. this Might include excavation, Ploughing, bedding preparation, structural support, concrete works, irrigation installation, trellis, or other type of activity if required.

To note that the area of each of the 61 gardens varies between *150 square meters* (the smallest area) and *around 3000 square meters* (the biggest area).

The service will include the use of appropriate machinery, tools, and equipment for the efficient completion of the installation, with all required labor provided by trained personnel. The installation team will work to ensure that all elements are properly aligned, securely fixed, and functioning optimally.

The transport of materials and machinery to the site will be arranged as part of the service, ensuring that everything needed for the setup is available on-site when required. The field engineer or an appointed supervisor will oversee the installation process to ensure that it adheres to the agreed-upon technical specifications and standards.

Upon completion, the setup will be thoroughly inspected and tested, and any necessary adjustments or calibrations will be made to ensure full functionality. The service will also include the handover of system operation guidelines and maintenance recommendations to the project owner.

An as-built documentation will be prepared and submitted upon completion of the installation
