BACKGROUND
Asmae – Association Sœur Emmanuelle is a French international NGO founded in 1980 by Sister Emmanuelle. It is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and their families through education, livelihoods, and child protection interventions. Asmae’s approach focuses on strengthening the capacities of local civil society organizations (CSOs) and supporting them in becoming more autonomous, effective, and sustainable.
In Lebanon, Asmae has established partnerships with two local organizations: Naba’a - Developmental Action Without Borders, and NAHNOO, under the framework of YFC program,
Both organizations have long-standing engagement in community development, child protection, education, advocacy and youth empowerment. Asmae’s collaboration with Naba’a and NAHNOO aims to enhance their institutional capacities, with a focus on sustainability, quality programming, and organizational risk management.
As part of this partnership, Asmae is launching a consultancy to support both partners in strengthening their safety, security, and emergency preparedness frameworks.
