BDS Intern

The specific responsibilities of the BDS Intern will include the following:

•             Support the identification of beneficiary SMEs in the targeted areas and ensure the high quality of the data collected during the assessments and baseline.

•             Enhance referrals pathways and ensure communities knowledge about the project in close collaboration with the Project Manager.

•             Consult with businesses and value chain actors, analyze business models and financial information, determine appropriate products and services, and provide training and coaching to beneficiaries to improve productivity and profitability of selected businesses.

•             Conduct BDS coaching visits and follow up on business development progress.

•             Deliver the Financial Literacy training for local partners and vulnerable beneficiaries in the South;

•             Performing a literature review of curricula pertaining to financial literacy, education and inclusion in rural areas in general and in agriculture in particular;

•             Support in preparing interactive training curricula including exercises and case studies

•             Provides supervision of participants during training by tracking attendance, addressing inappropriate behavior, and documenting performance and development needs

•             Conducting in introduction training sessions as needed in Arabic/English to beneficiaries

•             Manages training environment to ensure a quality learning experience

•             Any other tasks assigned.
