The Association for forests, Development and Conservation (AFDC) was awarded project from RMF, a USAID-fund project entitled “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods”.
In particular, the objective of the PSL Project is to improve the livelihoods of the residents in the targeted municipalities through various interventions that include training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, promotion of local products and access to markets and supporting the development of the local touristic sector. The project hopes to improve the livelihoods of 31,500 households across 105 municipalities in the North, Bekaa, South and Mount Lebanon areas.
For that, AFDC is looking for a Eco and Rural Tourism Consultant to support in the development of Eco and Rural tourism strategies focusing on the promotion and marketing of the communities’ assets.
The Eco and Rural Tourism Consultant will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and should be holding a bachelor's degree in tourism, business planning, or any related field.
