Graphic Designer

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
• Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
• Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with supervisors and making necessary changes.
• Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer.
• Key information into computer equipment to create layouts
• Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.
• Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.

• Microsoft Office Package
• Adobe Package (Illustrator)
• Photoshop and InDesign Software
• Video creation and editing software

Education and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
• Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience with excellent skills in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Familiarity with rules and regulations of international donors is an advantage.
• Proven ability to deliver quality designs on time.
• Creative mind with ideas that are relevant to the project’s objectives
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe software and various design software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
