Program Coordinator

The main responsibilities include:

• Prepare project proposal, project budgets, logical frameworks, and action plans.
• Direct, plan and coordinate the work of the project staff and experts including supervision and evaluation, training and team building
• Attend weekly departmental meetings to maintain effective communication
• Supervise and track project development, milestones and core activities
• Prepare project narrative reports, financial reports, and other communications
• Analyze trends in the projects, identifying issues and developing and recommending solutions to the Executive Director
• Implement, manage, supervise and evaluate all activities based on the project work plans and budget
• Maintain compliance with donors’ rules and regulations

Education and Requirements:

• Master degree in Agriculture Engineer, Environmental sciences or any other related fields.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (Oral and written) French is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other key computer software
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and carry out field visits
• Knowledge in finance and familiarity with budget preparation
• Familiarity with participatory approaches and community involvement
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years with relevant project management experience preferably within an NGO
• Prior experience with USAID and UN Agencies funded projects is a plus.
• Proven ability to deliver on time.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
