Proposal Developer and Grant Writer

AJEM is seeking a consultant who will assist the management to outreach for key stakeholders and potential donor agencies for new possible grants by developing projects and writing grants. The candidate will collaborate with the management and staff working on the field, while drafting proposals.

• Experience and proficient knowledge of diverse donor agencies (EU, UN, USAID and others) is required.
• Identify grant opportunities through grants databases.
• Prepare and develop assessments and grant proposals.
• Writing and submitting project proposals.
• Have input in the preparation of the project proposals' budget.
• Represent AJEM in meetings related to new allocations organized by donor agencies.
• Represent AJEM in meetings with local partners to develop and write grants.
• Develop fundraising strategy.
• Excellent knowledge of English is must.
• Ability to work under short deadlines.
• Must have 7-10 years of experience in a similar position.
