Psychiatrists will be working under a protection project with AJEM and its partners. Work site in North Bekaa office.
Tasks:
- Conduct assessment and treatment for refugees
- Performing Psychiatric assessment of mental disorders among Syrian Refugees and report trends.
- Develop patient specific care plan and coordinates such actions with AJEM health care staff and/or other staff from the referring department.
- Report on weekly and monthly basis to coordinator and headquarters on cases taken and followed.
- Assist in developing and conducting awareness campaigns, and activities to support the community regarding mental health and psychosocial well-being.
Skills required:
- Good written and oral communication skills in Arabic, French and English.
- Proficiency in all Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint...) and internet resources
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team and coordinate between different parties involved in the activity.
- Belief in human rights and knowledge about civil society
- Knowledge about protection and legal aid mechanisms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
