Social Worker

The social worker will mainly be based in a shelter home in Rabieh, to help manage the needs of the people residing in the center. Tasks include: Monitoring services delivered to the client to ensure that individual needs are met Interviewing beneficiaries and preparing statements summarizing the patient’s perception of the problem Collecting information, from the family’s beneficiaries, community agencies and others, necessary for the multidisciplinary team’s setting up of work objectives with the resident Coordinating with the team in the development, implementation and evaluation of individual plans Attending and participating actively in regular meetings, seminars and trainings  Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, peer supervision and case studies Undergoing individual supervision when needed  Maintaining records and preparing reports and correspondence related to the work as assigned under the supervision of the project coordinator  Keeping attendance registers and monthly inventory for all activities.   Skills required: 1. Ability to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. 2. Good written and oral communication skills in Arabic, French and English. 3. Proficiency in all Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…) and internet resources.
