Social Worker

The social worker will work in law court detention centers in Lebanon  to take in the prisoners upon their entry in prison and gather information on allegation of torture or inhuman treatments the prisoner suffered since their arrest. He or she will take care of the social help needed by the prisoner, and will help him develop a rehabilitation project in collaboration with AJEM’s multidisciplinary team. He or she will also collaborate on this project with the team of our NGO partners. Sometimes the assistance and the help of the social worker will expand to cover the persons outside the prisons depending on the Project within AJEM mission.   Skills required: 1. Ability to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. 2. Good written and oral communication skills in Arabic, French and English. 3. Proficiency in all Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…) and internet resources.
