Social workers will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team on a protection and legal support project with AJEM and its partners. Work sites are distributed between Syrian refugees’ camp sites, AJEM offices, prisons and detention centers.
Tasks:
- Design small trainings and awareness sessions; - Conduct focus group discussions, informal skill training and awareness sessions with youth, men and women, according to the weekly schedule of activities; - Plan and proceed with daily scheduled social activities when needed in AJEM’s working fields; - Enable the participation of the target population in the planned activities;
- Plan and conduct home visits for beneficiaries’ families
- Keep attendance registers and monthly inventory for all activities; - Coordinate with other partners for updated information and for activity follow up (meetings, common visits…); - Refer eligible cases to services within the project or within the center as required; - Assess, plan and implement activities in coordination with the Head of Department and/or Project Manager; -Report to the Head of Social Department and/or the Project Manager the critical cases for final approval on the actions to be taken; - Coordinate with other partners/stakeholders in the regions to avoid duplication and provide better services; - Attend trainings, staff meetings and other meetings with partners and stakeholders; - Perform administrative and secretarial support functions; - Assure AJEM and its partners visibility.
