Social Worker - Project Fight Against Torture

The social worker will work in law court detention centers in Lebanon to take in the prisoners upon their entry in prison and gather information on allegation of torture or inhuman treatments the prisoner suffered since their arrest.  He or she will take care of the social help needed by the prisoner, and will help him develop a rehabilitation project in collaboration with AJEM's multidisciplinary team. He or she will also collaborate on this project with the team of our NGO partners.    Skills required: - Ability to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinnary team - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic, good knowledge of French is an asset - Proficiency in all Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint...) and internet resources
