Job Duties

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Local and International donors.
  • Stay up to date with any new project opportunity that falls under LRD’s Mission.
  • Develop proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.
  • Identify fundraising strategies that benefit and complement the mission and vision of the NGO
  • Ensure that all implemented activities are relevant to the mission and vision of the organization
  • Engage the external community as to build and maintain essential relationships
  • Create programs and challenges that are as effective and efficient as possible
  • Invest in building relationships, both with the outside community and with the population that the NGO is targeting
  • Support and connect with the population targeted by the NGO
  • Be the public face of the NGO
  • Lead and manage by motivating employees and volunteers to remain optimistic even when faced with challenges and encouraging good performance and values

  • Recognize and support change within a specific population
  • Utilize essential interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
  • Support the NGO’s board members by supporting their operations and administration

 

Competencies

  • Outstanding skills in establishing partnerships with Local and International Donors
  • Strong capacities in project cycle management and budget.
  • Familiarity with the Lebanese economy, market, Labor Market and Social Entrepreneurship.
  • Very good communication, coordination and diplomacy.
  • Integrity, fairness and impartiality.
  • Ability to manage sensitive cases and confidential information.
  • Ability to work under pressure

 

Requirements

  • Language skills: Excellent in English and Arabic
  • Education degree: University degree in Business Administration, Micro-economics, Vocational Technical Education and Training or any related field
  • Work experience:  At least 8 years of experience in a similar position (NGOs/private companies) in NGO Management, Business Development, Program Management.
  • Knowledge and skills: knowledge in NGO Management, Project Management, business development, business coaching and training, internships and/or vocational trainings are strong assets.
  • Computer skills: very good knowledge of the MS office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with humanitarian projects is a strong asset.
