BLN Teachers - Beirut Area (Karantina - Burj Hammoud-COLA-Khaldeh)

Provide effective teaching in basic literacy and numeracy to out of school children.

Create a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning using interactive teaching approaches.

Implement innovative, age-appropriate, learner-centered teaching methods to engage students. 

Evaluate students' academic development, keep appropriate records, prepare progress reports

Prepare lesson plans, teaching handouts and activity sheets prior to sessions where appropriate.

Manage students' behavior in the classroom appropriately in accordance with the center's and project's rules.

Implement child –centered teaching methods, and diverse teaching techniques to engage children.

Enhance communication with parents through though proper communication channels with parents

Prepare teaching hand outs and activity sheets prior to sessions where appropriate.

Attend departmental meetings, donor meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Assess children’s learning progress using assessment tools.
