Implement activities for children accompanying their caregivers to the sessions using interactive techniques such as games, storytelling, hand crafts, theater, puppets, Lego and other relevant techniques.

Ensure that all activities are done in an appropriate location in line with minimum standards.

Ensure that children are not exposed to any form of harm or stress during the activity and that they feel safe and respected.

Positively interact with children and encourage them to play and participate.

Ensure participation of children in the activities in a non-discriminatory as well as age and gender sensitive and appropriate approach.

Respect and Abide to the organizations internal code of conduct and child protection/safeguarding policy.

Safety and Vigilance: Ensuring the safety of children is important. A caretaker must be constantly aware to prevent accidents and injuries, and be knowledgeable about childproofing spaces and first aid for common childhood injuries.

Nurturing and Compassionate: Children need a nurturing environment to thrive. A caretaker should be compassionate and able to provide emotional support, comfort, and understanding to help children feel secure and loved.

Engaging and Playful: Children learn and grow through play. A good caretaker should be engaging, creative, and willing to participate in various activities that stimulate a child's imagination, physical development, and cognitive skills.

Routine and Discipline: Establishing and maintaining a consistent routine helps children feel safe and understand expectations. A caretaker should be able to set boundaries and discipline in a fair and consistent manner, using positive reinforcement techniques.
