Community Mobilizer - Bekaa Area

  • Perform outreach activities in the areas covered by the project, including community-based awareness raising sessions on the importance of education, students with special needs, and access to formal schools
  • Participate in needs assessments, focus group discussions, awareness raising and information activities, and liaise with M&E team for feedback on M&E assessments
  • Mobilize and support Parent and Teacher to support children’s learning in community areas
  • Deliver mobilization and training sessions on different topics related to education and child protection.
  • Identify community members who can work as homework tutors for refugee children, and support the homework tutors with necessary stationery and monitoring
  • Collect data and fill assessment forms
  • Ensure proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies)
  • Attend regular coordination meetings with Project Officer, and Education Coordinator in Nabad Field Office
  • Share information on successes and challenges with team.
  • The community mobilizer is responsible for distributions, follow up, and provide support to/with the school directors, teachers, and other members to ensure proper implementation of the reinforcement program for grades 9 and 12.
