CP Officer - Bekaa Area

  • Deliver technical support and guidance to  CP team (FPSS assistants, volunteers)
  • Asses the daily quality of staff performance and implementation of programming.
  • Provide technical support and inputs towards child protection programming – including FPSS, child protection monitoring, and child friendly space activities.
  • Support and contribute to the organization and implementation of all protection and child protection activities.
  • Facilitate referrals and coordination to child cases that are in need for other needed services (including legal, mental health and education referrals)
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings with all CP staff, providing technical advice on cases and supporting the wellbeing of CP team.
  • Implement with the support of M&E team the protection monitoring activities at the field level.
  • Supervise follow-up monitoring visits to ensure that needs have been met sufficiently and beneficiary will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the assistance received.
  • Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the protection activities on a monthly basis, in coordination with other stakeholders involved in protection.
  • Organize and ensure monitoring of the activities in conducted in collaboration with the partner’s M&E team.
  • Ensure efficient and effective program implementation while following the budget and work plan.
  • Participate in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual highlights/reports and proposals and budgets for donors.
  • Lead the team in carrying out monitoring and evaluation exercises in coordination with the MEAL team.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal and external technical experts on child protection relevant issues.
  • Represent our partner at child protection sub sector meetings and other relevant technical coordination meetings.
  • Ensure integration with other sectors, particularly protection, GBV,  education and livelihoods
  • Monitor and evaluate projects, in coordination with the MEAL team.
  • Plan and coordinate proactively logistics and movements of staff from and to different operational areas.
  • Ensure distribution plans are prepared and shared with logistics in a timely manner.
  • Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as requested by the Manager.
