Responsibilities:
Facilitate group and individual Early Childhood Development (ECD) sessions for caregivers and children, adhering to the established curriculum and monitoring developmental milestones.
Conduct MUAC measurements for all children enrolled in the ECD program and refer any malnutrition cases to appropriate services.
Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including milestone tracking sheets, attendance records, permission slips, parental consent forms, and referral reports, while ensuring confidentiality.
Monitor caregiver attendance, follow up on absences, and maintain an updated tracker to meet attendance targets.
Participate in the outreach and registration process for caregivers using KOBO and BMA platforms.
Gather and document feedback from caregivers, including success stories, and report challenges, best practices, and recommendations for program improvement.
Assist with the planning, implementation, and reporting of activities, events, and field visits, including the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
Support the referral process for children, ensuring timely follow-ups and tracking of referrals.
Maintain accurate beneficiary records, ensuring data confidentiality and regular updates.
Act as the health and nutrition focal point for the MSCC project and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of community centers.
Participate in relevant training, including child safeguarding, safe identification, and referrals.
Adhere to the work schedule as set by management, ensuring consistent and reliable contribution to the project while being flexible to meet evolving needs.
Collaborate with team members across departments, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the smooth operation of community centers and achieve the project’s goals.
Adapt to shifting priorities, proactively addressing challenges and assisting with any assigned tasks to ensure the continued success and positive impact of the project.
