Emergency Response - Distribution Volunteers (National Candidates Only)

Actively participate in the organization and implementation of the regular Hygiene and basic assistance distribution cycles in Beirut area. 

• Handle data entry for beneficiaries targeted in the distribution program and refer vulnerable cases identified during the distribution process to the protection department (PSS, CM and PFA).

• Deliver of training sessions during the distribution session on the usage / type and modality of assistance. 

• Organize FGDs and assessments with beneficiaries to distinguish the best modality of distribution for the best of beneficiaries.

•The distribution volunteer should adhere to protection principles during distribution including protection of sexual exploitation and abuse and child protection principles

• Participate in the emergency response program of DRC and Nabad and ensure availability to participate in emergency response activity in Beirut.

• Plan and organize weekly and monthly schedules for the distribution of hygiene and food kits.

• Monitor the distribution activities with MEAL person.

•Any other duties requested from the team leader

Required

• Previous work experience in emergency context 

• 3 to 5 years of experience as Distribution staff 

• Computer Skills: Intermediate level in MS Word and Excel 

• Previous experience with INGOs/NGOs 

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills mainly with refugees 

• Fluency in Arabic Language and Good in English.

• Ability to work under pressure 

• Flexibility in terms of working hours and working locations 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
