Field Officer- Bekaa Area

 

  • Plan, implement, and monitor cash-based assistance activities, ensuring alignment with NABAD’s strategy and humanitarian standards.
  • Coordinate closely with local authorities, municipalities, and MOSA to ensure smooth implementation of activities and compliance with local regulations.
  • Supervise and support field teams under their responsibility, ensuring effective delivery of services and adherence to work plans.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify beneficiary needs and plan integrated responses (e.g., cash assistance, food security, DRR/DRM).
  • Prepare and manage distribution lists for food parcels and cash assistance, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Oversee food distribution activities, ensuring proper documentation, compliance with standards, and beneficiary satisfaction.
  • Ensure a protection lens is applied throughout all activities, identifying and referring protection concerns to relevant actors.
  • Monitor field activities to ensure they are on time, on target, and within budget.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) to the Program Manager.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all activities, including beneficiary lists, distribution records, and means of verification (both soft and hard copies).
  • Document challenges, lessons learned, and best practices to improve program quality.
  • Ensure compliance with NABAD’s data protection policies and donor requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including municipalities, MOSA, and other humanitarian actors.
  • Represent NABAD in field-level coordination meetings and ensure alignment with other sectoral interventions (e.g., WASH, Shelter, FSL).
  • Facilitate referrals and collaboration with other organizations to avoid duplication of efforts and enhance program impact.
  • Communicate NABAD’s feedback and complaints mechanism to beneficiaries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Supervise and support field staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork among field staff.
