Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and encourage the participation of children, adolescent, parents and caregivers, notably the most vulnerable ones, ensuring proper attention to their specific emotional and physical needs / difficulties;
- Conduct house visits and follow up on the street with working children as and when needed;
- Ensure children, adolescent, parents and caregivers under her/his responsibility are not exposed to any form of harm or stress during the activities;
- Ensure the adoption of minimum standard required (ex. Child Protection in Emergency) in the conduction of the activities;
- In order to identify and provide information in services available to children and adolescent engaged in different form of labour, as well as children at high risk or survivors of violence, exploitation, neglect and abuse and street children
- Whenever possible link children involved in FPSS activities to other services (awareness sessions, case management and education), through referrals.
- In the particular case of children involved in child labor, adopt a holistic approach through working with children and duty-bearers (parents, employers and other adults) in the work place and with other humanitarian agencies.
- Coordinate closely with the education team providing BLN and ABLN sessions to support them in benefiting the child (Best interest of the child).
- Strengthen the Referral mechanism internally and externally through coordination with CP and non CP actors.
- Fill the data of the beneficiaries participated in FPSS and awareness sessions in a safely manner. (Hard and soft copies)
- Provide CP awareness sessions to children in coordination with IRC team and following the CP guiding principles.
- Support in submitting a monthly report for the achievement s and challenges of the project.
- In coordination with the MEAL team, support in implementing the pre-posttest and satisfaction surveys for the children and caregivers.
- Any other duties related to the nature of the job and as required by the Project officer/managers
