FSL Assistant - Bekaa

Main Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and implement vocational activities following the methodologies set by the Livelihood department respecting the administrative, logistical and communication procedures.

Supervise vocational trainings and skills building trainings through collecting attendance sheets, executing spot checks, following up with beneficiaries to set the schedule.  And follow up Work based learning placements quality by executing regular spot checks, collecting attendance sheets, evaluations, and capacity building plan implementation

Guide and track youth development through the different Livelihood pathways ensuring the linkage with the world of work.

Identify the needs and gaps within NABAD and develop a work plan based on previous month results (including technical recommendations).

Act as the main focal point present daily in the field for beneficiaries, communities and NABAD; maintain good relationships with participants, and make sure any feedbacks are shared with the Project Manager.

Work closely with operational staff, specifically procurement team, to ensure proper organization and timely delivery in the field of order requests, payment requests and assets.

Manage and track the stock of tools, materials and refreshments received in the field and their proper usage as well as their storage in a safe place.

Provide comprehensive reports along the year including quantitative data and full descriptive narrative.

Ensure the success of the organized activities respecting logistical, administrative and communication processes aligned with donor’s rules and requirements.

Collaborate with the M&E department and facilitate data collection and validation through different M&E tools (surveys, database…)

Maintain the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically).

Provide lessons learned from the field and suggest improvements regarding the activities’ implementation.

Refer CP, GBV and youth with special needs cases to the case manager for a professional intervention and follow up (direct intervention and/or external referral as needed).

Demonstrate an understanding of the integrated approach of the program.

Bachelor’s degree in Development/ Business Development/ Humanitarian Studies or Social Science.
Work experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an organization.
Required skills and experiences:
Hard Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Strong documentation, research and report writing skills.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational and team working skills; Good communication and interpersonal skills.
