- Deliver Homework support sessions to out-of-school children in primary till secondary levels
- Tutor assigned students individually or in small group in core academic subjects
- Prepare lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives
- Adapt teaching techniques to meet the diverse learning styles and needs
- Monitor students’ progress and provide support to those struggling with academic tasks
- Adapt the activities for the Children with disabilities
- Create, assign and grade various assessments for students
- Manage student behavior
- Create a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student’s participation
- Help students in building self-confidence and improving study methods and habits
- Ensure that all activities promote student participation, protection and psychosocial well-being
- Maintain students’ attendance records
- Communicate regularly with the supervisor on students’ progress, challenges and needs
- Communicate regularly with parents and lead Parent-Facilitator meetings
- Identify and refer any child protection or safeguarding concerns following the organizational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in team meetings and trainings
- Encourage students to explore learning opportunities and career paths
