Homework Support Teacher - South Lebanon-Sahel Al Zahrani

  1. Deliver Homework support sessions to out-of-school children in primary till secondary levels
  2. Tutor assigned students individually or in small group in core academic subjects
  3. Prepare lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives
  4. Adapt teaching techniques to meet the diverse learning styles and needs
  5. Monitor students’ progress and provide support to those struggling with academic tasks
  6. Adapt the activities for the Children with disabilities
  7. Create, assign and grade various assessments for students
  8. Manage student behavior
  9. Create a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student’s participation
  10. Help students in building self-confidence and improving study methods and habits
  11. Ensure that all activities promote student participation, protection and psychosocial well-being
  12. Maintain students’ attendance records
  13. Communicate regularly with the supervisor on students’ progress, challenges and needs
  14. Communicate regularly with parents and lead Parent-Facilitator meetings
  15. Identify and refer any child protection or safeguarding concerns following the organizational procedures.
  16. Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in team meetings and trainings
  17. Encourage students to explore learning opportunities and career paths

A Bachelor’s Degree or another appropriate academic qualification related to the teaching subject, education, or a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in non-formal education.
The candidate must also have experience working with children in learning or tutoring environments.
