MHPSS Officer - Hermel Area/Bekaa

1. Technical Support

• Provide ongoing coaching and supervision to FPSS facilitators and protection volunteers during the implementation of:
  • Problem Management Plus (PM+) sessions
  • “I Support My Friend” peer-support sessions
• Ensure fidelity to methodologies and adapt tools to local context while maintaining sectoral standards.

2. Capacity Building

• Design and deliver training modules to strengthen the team’s technical capacity in MHPSS approaches.
• Mentor staff on case management, referral pathways, and psychosocial facilitation skills.
• Develop guidance notes, session plans, and practical tools for facilitators and volunteers.

3. Program Oversight

• Oversee the MHPSS component of the project, ensuring activities are integrated, safe, and culturally appropriate.
• Monitor implementation quality, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure safeguarding and ethical standards are upheld in all psychosocial interventions.

4. Coordination & Representation

• Attend and actively contribute to MHPSS Task Force meetings and other relevant coordination platforms.
• Share updates, lessons learned, and best practices with sectoral peers.
• Represent the project in technical discussions, advocating for psychosocial needs of affected populations.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare regular reports on MHPSS activities, challenges, and achievements.
• Draft Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), technical updates, and lessons learned for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to donor reporting and project evaluations with clear, evidence-based inputs.
