Protection Project Officer - South Lebanon - Sarba (waiting donor's approval)

  • Work closely with the Protection Manager/Program Manager (internally and externally) to plan protection prevention and response activities, including establishing referral pathways and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 
  • Oversee and monitor project implementation, ensuring adherence to national case management guidelines and SOPs, and contribute to effective information management related to child protection.
  • Collaborate with PSS Assistants, Case Workers, Outreach Workers, and Peer Facilitators to ensure best practices and international standards are upheld in child protection and GBV prevention and response. 
  • Supervise case management processes, including follow-up on referrals and action plans, to ensure vulnerable children receive the minimum service package. 
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor protection activities, including awareness sessions, and ensure proper documentation is completed. 
  • Coordinate with protection sector partners to provide holistic, needs-based services to beneficiaries. 
  • Regularly update the Program Manager on plans, achievements, and challenges.

Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a Protection Project Officer, with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Child Protection Case Management and Psychosocial Support.
Experience working with vulnerable populations, including children at risk, survivors of GBV, and people with disabilities, is an asset.
