Volunteers (Burj El- Barajneh & Chehim)

The Outreach volunteer will be based inside one of community centers, in Beirut, Chehim. He/she will hold the following responsibilities:

Bus Escort Responsibilities:

a. Ensure student safety: Accompany students during their journey to and from the school premises.

b. Arrival and departure coordination: Assist in organizing students, ensuring they board the correct buses and alight at the designated stops.

c. Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with students, bus drivers, and school staff.

d. Report incidents: Inform the designated school staff about any incidents, accidents, or disruptions that occur during transportation.

e. Be punctual: Arrive at the designated meeting point before the scheduled departure time.

Data Entry Responsibilities:

a. Accurate data input: Enter student attendance records, transportation information, and related data into the designated systems or databases.

b. Maintain confidentiality: Handle all student information in a confidential and secure manner, adhering to data protection and privacy regulations.

c. Attention to detail: Ensure accurate and error-free data entry by cross-checking information and verifying data validity.

d. Timely submission: Complete assigned data entry tasks within the specified deadlines.

Student Absenteeism Checking Responsibilities:

a. Attendance verification: Cross-reference student attendance records with the official school roster.

b. Absence documentation: Document student absences and record reasons for absences accurately.

c. Communicate with parents/guardians: Contact parents/guardians to verify absences and obtain any necessary additional information.

d. Maintain records: Update the attendance system with accurate information regarding student absences and attendance.
