YBLN Teachers (Khaldeh & Burj Hammoud)

The YBLN Teacher will be responsible for:

- Provide effective teaching in basic literacy and numeracy to out of school youth.

- Create a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning using interactive teaching approaches.

- Implement innovative, age-appropriate, learner-centered teaching methods to engage students. 

- Evaluate students' academic development, keep appropriate records, prepare progress reports

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching handouts and activity sheets prior to sessions where appropriate.

- Manage students' behavior in the classroom appropriately in accordance with the center's and project's rules.

- Attend departmental meetings, donor meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
