About APJM: The Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa (APJM) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization created in 2007 for the conservation of biodiversity and preservation of the cultural heritage in Jabal Moussa Mountain and surrounding villages which are part of the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve (JM BR) under UNESCO-MAB program since 2009. The Jabal Moussa mountain is located in the Caza of Kesrwan in the North of Mount Lebanon chain, and is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna species many of which are of high conservation value (endemic, rare, endangered etc.).
