For MEPI Project on Supporting Small Initiatives of Traditional Food Production and Handicraft in Rural Areas of Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve (SIFOHR) About APJM The Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa (APJM) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization created in 2007 for the conservation of biodiversity and preservation of the cultural heritage in Jabal Moussa Mountain and surrounding villages which are part of the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve (JM BR) under UNESCO-MAB program since 2009. The Jabal Moussa mountain is located in the Caza of Kesrwan in the North of Mount Lebanon chain, and is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna species many of which are of high conservation value (endemic, rare, endangered etc.). The Mission of APJM is the conservation of the natural and cultural heritage of Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve through participatory and adaptive management, and the sustainable development of the local communities through the creation of income generating and sustainable socio-economic activities. Application Submission Guidelines
9 am to 4 pm (+ weekly meeting once a week from 5 to 7 pm). Flexibility is essential, occasional work on week-ends may be required.
