We are seeking a highly competent, values-driven Executive Director to lead the organization’s operations, strengthen governance, and act as the key link between the Board, team, and external stakeholders.

 

 Key Responsibilities

 

1. Operational & Administrative Oversight

Ensure smooth daily operations in line with internal policies and procedures.

Oversee data management, documentation, archiving, and internal communication systems.

Safeguard organizational data through effective security and backup protocols.

Supervise financial management and procurement functions across all programs and departments.

 

2. Strategic & Board Liaison

Serve as the primary communication channel between the Board of Directors and the organization’s staff.

Translate Board strategies and decisions into clear operational plans and workflows.

Attend Board meetings and provide regular progress, performance, and risk reports.

 

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Representation

Represent Irada in external meetings, events, conferences, and official visits.

Manage relationships with members, partners, donors, and public institutions.

Identify and develop new partnerships to expand Irada’s network and impact.

 

4. Team Management & Internal Coordination

Supervise administrative and support staff and foster a collaborative, accountable work culture.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff capacity-building initiatives.

Ensure effective coordination across programs, departments, and project teams.

 

5. Program & Donor Support

Follow up on the implementation, monitoring, and progress of all projects and programs.

Support donor communications, proposal development, and narrative and financial reporting.

Contribute to fundraising strategies and participate in donor meetings and negotiations.

 

6. Governance & Organizational Development

Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of internal policies, SOPs, and operational manuals.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and institutional strengthening.

Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and donor requirements.

 

Profile & Qualifications

Proven experience in senior management, executive leadership, or NGO/organizational management.

Strong understanding of governance structures, donor-funded programs, and institutional systems.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

High level of integrity, organization, accountability, and strategic thinking.

Ability to work with Boards, donors, partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
