Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and implementation of the project's financial plan and budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Financial Reporting: Regularly update and report on the project's financial status, highlighting any deviations from the budget and recommending corrective actions.
- Invoice and Payment Processing: Review and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and contractors.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with auditors, providing the necessary documentation and information for periodic audits.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor project cash flow to ensure timely availability of funds for project activities.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to organizational policies, donor guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain clear and accurate financial records of all transactions related to the project.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a non-profit or project-based environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
- Commitment: Availability to work on a part-time basis, ensuring the financial needs of the project are met efficiently.
