We are seeking an early-career to mid-level engineer with a strong analytical background to contribute to the optimization and logistical planning of Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in conducting detailed technical assessments of CDW material properties. You will develop and apply logistical models to streamline the collection, sorting, transport, and processing of CDW, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments of CDW material properties to evaluate suitability for reuse in construction applications.
- Develop logistical models to optimize the collection, sorting, transport, and processing of CDW.
- Analyze infrastructure needs and propose engineering solutions for sustainable CDW recycling facilities.
- Apply quantitative methods to evaluate cost-effective, efficient, and environmentally sound CDW management strategies.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of pilot projects.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and policymakers to identify and address regulatory and operational challenges. •
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and policy recommendations grounded in engineering analysis.
- Contribute to stakeholder consultations, government meetings, and workshops by presenting technical findings and recommendations.
- Participate in weekly team reviews to share project updates, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, mathematics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in areas such as supply chain optimization, logistics, infrastructure planning, or related engineering fields.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills, with proficiency in data-driven decisionmaking.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles, material reuse, and circular economy frameworks in the construction sector.
- Ability to contribute to innovative engineering solutions in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.
