Animator (Recreational and Educational Activities)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Activity Implementation

Organize recreational activities (sports, games, art, music, drama).

Facilitate educational activities (literacy, numeracy games, storytelling).

Adapt activities for different age groups (3–5, 6–12, 13–18).

Ensure inclusion of children with diverse needs, including disabilities.

Child Engagement

Create a safe and supportive environment.

Encourage participation, teamwork, and respect.

Identify and refer children with psychosocial needs and refer cases when needed.

Coordination and Collaboration

Work closely with Education and Child Protection teams.

Coordinate with caregivers and community members to promote attendance.

Contribute to improving activities based on feedback.

Monitoring and Reporting

Track attendance and participation.

Monitor children’s emotional and educational progress.

Report protection concerns to the Child Protection team.

Submit weekly reports to the Education Specialist.
