Bln Field Coordinator - Jounieh

Overall responsibility: In charge of organizing, coordinating and supervising the implementation of the BLN courses carried out inside the agricultural vocational schools and in external centers 1-      Main Duties and responsibilities The BLN Field Coordinator will: Coordinate with the education specialist for the update of the BLN curricula, according to the needs of the youth (15-25 years old) Set monthly objectives for the BLN staff according to activities implementation Coordinate and supervise field staff (BLN officers and BLN teachers) and finalize with the field team the operational work plans in the schools and external centers, setting clear targets and activity plans per school/external centers. Assist in the recruitment, including preparation of contracts, training and supervision of teachers; Maintain a constant contact with school directors in order to assess the implementation of activities and have a regular feedback on teachers’ quality of work and behaviors. Supervise and monitor the quality of implementation of BLN courses by the teachers with BLN officer in schools, in collaboration with the M&E staff Present updated reports of BLN activities, including courses implementation, students’ progress and teachers’ assessment to the TVET Project Coordinator and PM Assist in the development and management of all matters related to UNICEF project; Liaise with local Education and Vocational partners and government representatives as necessary; Coordinate with the communication officer in order to properly document activities (Photos, small videos…) aligned with the donor’s requirements and communication guidelines. Develop and encourage new and innovative solutions; Perform any other relevant duties as required.
