Bln Field Officer

1-Main Duties and responsibilities The BLN Field Officer will: Plan, coordinate, and manage daily BLN educational activities effectively. Supervise and monitor the quality of implementation of BLN courses of the teachers. Plan and implement education outreach activities: need analysis, focus group discussions, and any other outreach and field activities. Have a clear idea about education activities that other institutions working in the same area. Ensure timely and quality implementation of the project components, providing technical assistance as needed. Ensure the establishment and implementation of operational work plans in the schools, setting clear targets and activity plans per school/programme site. Communicate the targets, programme objectives and activity plans clearly to the teachers, ensuring they are well understood. Develops and encourages new and innovative solutions. Work in close collaboration with the M&E Officer for data analysis. Responsible of maintaining the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically). Report weekly & monthly on activities and results to BLN Coordinator and TVET Project Manager. Perform any other relevant duties as required.   -Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes: Languages:   Arabic: Excellent       English: Fluent     French: Fluent. Excellent computer skills; knowledge of excel and other data entry programmes. An understanding of youth education programme. Strong organizational and team working skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills Good cultural awareness and sensitivity. Strong documentation, research and report writing skills. Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector.
