Business Coach

  • Participate in the implementation and planning of career guidance sessions for youth beneficiaries in collaboration with the technical department.
  • Deliver trainings on entrepreneurship fundamental following GIL curriculum to youth beneficiaries.
  • Be a member of the selection committee for entrepreneurial projects.
  • Set a calendar for coaching sessions to be facilitated to the students selected for seed-funding.
  •  
  • Establish a workplan for the follow up of seed-funded students after the facilitation of coaching sessions is done as well as the delivery of materials purchased for the realization of the project.
  • Provide detailed reports including quantitative data collection and descriptive narrative reports as per the project annual work plan.
  • Ensure adequate logistical and administrative procedures are accomplished for all seed-funded (contracts, procurement policy partnership agreements, purchase requests).  
  • Conduct site visits and spot checks to monitor the ongoing projects on field.
  • Conduct research on social entrepreneurship and innovation in the agri-food sector.
  • Refer CP, GBV and youth with special needs cases to the case manager for a professional intervention and follow up (direct intervention and/or external referral as needed).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the integrated approach of the program.
  • Coordinate, support in the implementation of the TVET activities following the methodologies set by the Livelihood department respecting the administrative, logistical and communication procedures.
  • Guide and track youth development through the different Livelihood pathways ensuring the linkage with the world of work.
  • Collaborate with the M&E department and facilitate data collection and validation through different M&E tools (database, focus group discussion, surveys and other).
  • Maintain the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically).
  • Be the lead focal point for the consolidation of qualitative and quantitative reports in collaboration with the TVET team as requested.
