Monitoring And Evaluation Officer (Education Sector)

The M&E Officer working in Education sector will: Creates mechanisms for periodic community feedback and integrates this feedback into program design or re-design Conduct project site visits to provide hands-on training to field staff on how to capture and organize information for accurate documentation and reporting. Coordinates with the internal and external control unit to define, document, and update results achievements Ensure that Education program have sufficient systems in place to meet program management standards and comply to donor regulations and good practice, including a dashboard for reporting to senior managers/executives Facilitates the elaboration of inclusive program selection criteria that takes into consideration the needs of different vulnerable groups, and monitors beneficiary selection processes to ensure that these criteria are followed Assists the M&E Manager in capacity building, program design, monitoring and evaluation exercises Works with program staff to integrate quality monitoring processes in Education based on protocols into program implementation, including internal and external reviews of program quality Attend workshops and trainings as needed. Perform any other relevant duties as required     Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relevant to social sciences, humanities, development studies with at least 7 year of experience OR a Master Degree in any other major with at least 5 years of experience At least two years of implementing surveys and/or other research activities within an NGO environment preferred Computer skills and report writing experience Good knowledge of school situation and learning problems of Syrians refugees children in the targeted villages Knowledge of SPHERE and commitment to humanitarian principles Familiarity with database systems is an advantage. Good communication skills and good team player. Good knowledge of English and/or French language – spoken and written skills. Mother tongue Arabic speaker
