- Coordinate and monitor the work of the field coordinators on a national level according to the framework of the different projects while respecting logistical, administrative and communication processes aligned with donor’s rules and requirements;
- Lead on reporting for project coordinators and managers, consolidating information from each activity and region;
- Provide effective guidance and technical assistance to the field coordinators and technical team while assessing the needs in term of capacity building, especially to those in need of improvement of performance;
- Coordinate with transversal departments (communication, outreach, M&E etc.) to prepare monthly plans, calendar of activities and logistical arrangements for the activities;
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss programmatic progress;
- Liaise with the partners (Namely regional MoA extension offices and Fair trade Lebanon) for the successful implementation of the joint activities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of relationships with local stakeholders and actors within the rural development/ agricultural sector on a national level.
- In collaboration with the M&E department, develop comprehensive monitoring and implementation tools
- Ensure effective communication across the different sectors and departments.
- Provide reports along the year to the Project coordinators/M&E department including quantitative data and full descriptive narrative as per the projects annual work plans.
- Represent AVSI in the relevant meetings upon request.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the integrated approach of the program.
- Given the nature and function of AVSI Lebanon as AVSI Mena hub, and on request, and in case of need; to collaborate with the regional structure in Lebanon / Mena.
