Vocational Project Coordinator / MEHE focal point

The Vocational project Coordinator will:

• Work closely with the Project Manager for the elaboration of the Work plan and the Budget forecast, and follow up their implementation;
• Coordinate the selection of experts for TVET curricula elaboration; prepare contracts; follow up their work, accompany them on field, follow up the delivery of the curricula on time;
• Build a relationship with the MEHE personnel in charge of TVET activities

Put in place a coordination mechanism with the schools’ directors, AVSI and UNICEF field staff, to plan and implement the vocational courses in the 25 schools.

• Coordinate and supervise the work of the field officers, set up monitoring, spot check and reporting mechanism; coordinate the elaboration of their reports and provide the compiled one; coach the new staff;
• Support in selection and recruitment of project staff
• Follow up the purchase and delivery procedures of tools and equipment for the schools;
• Ensure the Monitoring system and tools with the Project manager and the M&E department;
• Facilitate the communication and cross-cutting activities among Outreach, M&E and other livelihood equips;
• Participate to the donor meetings, when required; establish a strong relationship with the donor field officers;
• Participate to the sector Working Group when required;
• Represent AVSI in the regional meetings upon request;
• Fulfill reporting requirement;

Perform any other relevant duties as required.
