English teachers will be required to:
-Teach English to students of all levels and various ages
-Engage students in language learning through the use of activities that are at once goal-oriented and enjoyable
-Produce clear course plans (at the beginning of the course) and record class work (throughout the course)
-Record student attendance
-Correct and grade student writing and examinations
-Decorate classrooms with student work or other items of interest
-Participate in regular training and professional development
-Display calm and professional comportment at all times
In addition, teachers may occasionally be asked to conduct oral examinations for new students (placement testing).
