Job Description : 

1. Design, plan, and deliver MHPSS group sessions tailored to the needs of frontline workers (teachers, social workers, humanitarian staff).
2. Use creative, activity-based methods (art, movement, storytelling, mindfulness) to support participant engagement and well-being.
3. Adapt session content and facilitation techniques in response to emerging group needs, feedback, and contextual changes.
4. Apply strong group facilitation skills to foster trust, participation, and positive group dynamics.
5. Integrate a high level of context sensitivity, ensuring psychosocial support reflects the Lebanese sociocultural and political environment.
6. Uphold cultural competence, empathy, and trauma-informed practices when working with diverse and high-stress populations.
7. Maintain session documentation and basic reporting in line with confidentiality and organizational guidelines.

KPIs:

• Delivery of all scheduled MHPSS group sessions within agreed timelines.
• Participant engagement and satisfaction measured through feedback forms.
• Adaptation of session plans based on participant needs and feedback.
• Adherence to Basmeh & Zeitooneh's safeguarding, protection, and ethical policies.

People Management : 

• Manage group dynamics with empathy and sensitivity.
• Facilitate active participation, trust-building, and peer support among participants.

Education & Experience :

• Proven experience delivering MHPSS group sessions, particularly for frontline workers.
• Academic background in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (license is a plus but not mandatory).
• Experience with creative and activity-based psychosocial interventions.
• Fluency in Arabic (required); proficiency in English or French (an asset).
• Strong familiarity with the Lebanese socio-political context and the stressors facing frontline staff.
• Prior work with diverse, post-crisis, or high-stress populations.

Competencies

• Strong group facilitation and psychosocial support skills.
• Ability to design and deliver creative, activity-based MHPSS interventions (art, movement, storytelling, mindfulness).
• Capacity to adapt session content dynamically based on participant needs and context changes.
• Basic reporting and documentation skills using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, stress management techniques, and psychosocial support principles.
